BROAD CREEK PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT
SOIL CONDITIONER :
Broad Creek Public Service District operates one of the
few in-vessel composting systems in the nation.
This
system provides residents in our district with a low cost
method of converting waste material into a valuable soil
conditioner in an environmentally sound manner. Officially
called "soil conditioner", the compost is scientifically
formulated to maximize moisture use. This efficient use
of ground moisture encourages conservation and helps reduce
the need for irrigation. This recycled product has been
approved for use anywhere and is available to Broad Creek
PSD customers for free.
The
soil conditioner can be used as a top dressing for newly
seeded turfgrass, as a surface mulch for flowers or in any
way you would use traditional commercial fertilizer. An
information sheet listing the chemical breakdown of the
soil conditioner and application instructions is provided.
Available on a "first come, first serve" basis, the soil
conditioner is delivered to our customers at no charge.
Each owner may request up to 5 cubic yards per delivery.
Please take advantage of this unique opportunity to improve
your soil and save money by calling Terra Brown at 843.785.5016.
She will be happy to arrange for delivery.
